Initial Production Check
What is an Initial Production Check (IPC)?
Initial Production Check is an on-site product inspection conducted before production starts until 20% of the product is completed. Its purpose is to promptly detect quality problems and production defects in the early stages of production to prevent them from further expanding.
What should you do if the finished product does not match the client's requirements?
What should you do if the finished product and the raw materials have obvious defects?
What should you do if the production delivery time is different from the client's expectations?
Why Perform an IPC?
IPC can detect problems early in the early stages of production, avoid risks, reduce costs, and ensure product quality and production delivery. It enables you to understand the production status and product quality in the early stages of production, and promptly require the factory to adjust product quality problems and production defects to avoid quality problems in the entire batch of goods, causing significant losses and negative impacts on your brand.
Below items will be conducted in an IPC:
Inspection of raw materials, including raw material quantity, quality, storage conditions, etc.
Inspection of finished products, including product quantity, color, appearance, specifications, logos, labels, dimensions, etc.
Inspection of product performance, including production process, on-site testing of usage functions, etc.
Inspection of product packaging, including packaging process, packaging materials, packaging printing, etc.
It can be carried out according to the client's special requirements, and an inspection report will be issued to the client within 1 working day after the inspection is completed.
